We have reimagined the approach to talent by building an AI-centric agency from the ground up, using AI in every aspect of our business while leveraging our 10+ years of experience in executive recruitment and assessment.
BRAINWAVE talent emerged from a simple observation: the democratization of AI is revolutionizing business, but many organizations lack leaders who can harness this transformation.
While AI technology has become widely accessible, true AI fluency remains scarce in leadership ranks. Many organizations are implementing tools lole ChatGPT Enterprise and Copilot, seeing modest productivity gains in mundane tasks, but missing the larger opportunity—using AI to fundamentally reimagine how work gets done.
We believe there’s a 3-5 year window when having AI-forward talent on-board provides a decisive competitive advantage. After this period, AI fluency will be a cost of entry to employment, much like digital skills or ERP familiarity today.
This realization led us to start with a blank canvas—building a new kind of talent firm from the ground up, one that uses AI in every aspect of its business while specializing in identifying and assessing AI-forward leaders.

Charles is an entrepreneur in the recruitment space with a corporate background. He founded BRAINWAVE talent to address the critical talent gap in AI-forward leadership.
Currently, Charles is the managing partner of Salomons & Partners, a boutique executive search firm based in Zurich. Over the last decade, he has built extensive experience in recruiting and assessing senior leaders for large and mid-sized organizations.
Before becoming an executive search consultant, Charles worked for more than 20 years in General Management and Marketing & Sales at top-tier consumer goods companies, including Colgate-Palmolive, Coca-Cola, and Carlsberg.
In addition, he was the Head of Marketing and Technology for a Paris-based e-commerce start-up which would later become part of Just-Eat.
Charles is a Dutch national who has been living in Switzerland since 2003. He holds a BSc degree from The Hague Institute of Technology (Netherlands). He has lived and worked in five countries and speaks Dutch, English, French, and German.
